A Pulse Oximeter is a diagnostic tool to measure the amount of Oxygen Saturated (SATS) in the blood. A pulse oximeter is very useful for spot checking, especially if the patient is away from their main source of Oxygen. It will give an accurate read out of the Patients SATS and a Pulse Rate.
What has pulse rate got to do with the SATS?
